Listeria is bacteria found in some foods and can cause serious infection potentially leading to miscarriage, infection of your newborn and stillbirth.


Foods to Avoid to Prevent Listeria


  • Soft and semi soft cheese
  • Raw seafood
  • Soft serve ice-cream
  • Unpasteurised dairy products
  • Cold processed meats /chicken
  • Prepared salads
  • Pate
