small hole in babys heart showed up on scan

i had my 20 week scan yesterday and they said theres a small hole in the babys heart and i have to go back for another scan next wensday the lady said that the hole might fix its self but im really worried and unsure how and why theres a hole and what happens if it dosnt fix it self
